1. Cher - Best Actress, 1987

Cher took home to gold for her performance in Norman Jewison's "Moonstruck".
2. David Byrne - Best Original Score, 1988
The Talking Heads front man won an Oscar for the original score of the 1987 film “The Last Emperor,” in collaboration with Ryuichi Sakamoto and Cong Su. He was also nominated for Best Original Song in 2023 for "Everything Everywhere All at Once".
3. Bob Dylan - Best Original Song, 2001
Bobby D. won for his song 'Things Have Changed' from the film "Wonder Boys".
4. The Beatles - Best Original Score, 1971
The fab four won Best Original Song Score in 1971 for their documentary film "Let It Be".
Paul McCartney would later receive two nominations in the Best Original Song category for films "Live and Let Die", and "Vanilla Sky".
5. Adele - Best Original Song, 2013
Like McCartney, Adele was nominated for a James Bond film, winning for her song 'Skyfall'.

The duo won for their song 'Glory' from "Selma".

And she should've been the first woman to win Best Director but that's a story for another time...
